Care Instructions

- Quick Cleaning:
After an adventure, rinse your lead and hardware with fresh water to remove dirt, mud, or saltwater.
For stubborn grime, use mild soap or pet-safe detergent with a soft cloth or sponge.

- Carabiner Care:
Unlike traditional spring-loaded clips, the carabiners are designed with no exposed springs, making them more resistant to jamming from sand or grit.

Pro Tip: If you do notice grit in the barrel mechanism, a quick shake or rinse will usually dislodge it.

Important: Avoid forcing the carabiner open if grit is present in the barrel. Forcing it can permanently affect the auto-lock function. Gently clean and shake it out first.

- Drying:
Pat dry with a clean towel or leave to air dry.

Storage:
- Store your lead in a dry place to keep it looking and performing its best.

Longevity Tips:
- Regularly check the hardware, webbing and stitching to ensure everything is intact and performing as it should.
